This is the version of the video which is available for purchase. You would be able to purchase it exclusively as a single owner, I would keep a copy for my archive, and no reproductions of the video work would be sold or created (outside of small excerpts for promotional/portfolio/video reel showcase). I would also take the video down from my spaces on the internet if you so desired.

Simple Fabric (2017-2022)

Simple Fabric is a video work rooted in the practice of movement. It is a duet between myself and the fabric, in which I attempt to dance with the fabric to the point that the fabric morphs into many different shapes and energies. In my work, I am often exploring the concept of highlighting beauty, both small or large, actual or perceived, visible or invisible. The body and fluidity of the moving fabric is visible and filled with life, just like the air which lifts it. The piece is the earliest official work that joins my practices of sound, visuals, and performance.

LIVE PERFORMANCE
There is the possibility to also commission a live performance version of Simple Fabric which would be an interactive experience. As of this year (2022) to perform this piece live in Berlin it would be from 3500 euro - 5000 euro (1-3 performances). It would include video documentation and a 2 m x 2 m “fabric painting” (or larger). There is also the possibility to perform it elsewhere in the EU.

The piece is called Mechanical Sky, 2020 (58.5cm x 40cm). It is a part of an ongoing project of mine, mixing archival photography images or videos made into montages and collages (physical or digital). This particular piece is a combination of a photo montage and found objects. Newer pieces in this series are in the process of being transformed into mirror display digital pieces with sound.
